IT-Enterprise shared digital tech implementation case studies at Digital GovTech Hackathon, California
Digital GovTech Hackathon took place in California, USA, on March 7–8, 2024. The event was organized by Berkeley HaaS (Haas School of Business University of California, Berkeley) and Wtech, an international community for women leaders in tech and online business, in collaboration with the California Department of Technology.
The Digital GovTech Hackathon project consolidated the experience of Ukraine's top IT teams working on the digitalization of public services, data protection in government agencies, and data privacy.
The hackathon’s mission is to create solutions that would go beyond simple coding, completely changing the way people interact with public services.
The main subject of the discussion was how to make paperwork easy and accessible for everyone.
This was a special opportunity for the IT-Enterprise team to share its positive experience in Ukraine with its foreign colleagues, students, and local communities. Once again, it was proved that Ukrainian tech teams are capable of showing deep expertise, high-quality solutions, and successful implementation cases, such as:
Digital business processes, comprehensive BI at the NACP's CRM call center provided a 20% increase in new client registration per day: case study
Building security services, operating administrative service centers, digitalizing municipal management processes at Vinnytsia City Council: case study
E-archive, Resident Portal and Housing Queue services, integration with Microsoft 365 at Lviv City Council: case study
Sustainable development of business process digitalization at Kyivvodokanal PJSC. Maintenance, quality control, transition to paperless document management: case study
Smart Manager electronic document management system at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine: case study
One notable fact is that since 2022, many displaced persons from Ukraine have been able to compare the convenience and efficiency of public services at home and abroad, praising the quality of Ukrainian digital services.
Yet it is more important that the course towards providing easy and prompt access to public services for citizens remains unchanged and that necessary steps are being taken despite all the challenges.
This year’s Digital GovTech Hackathon was also attended by other Ukrainian teams with which IT-Enterprise has strategic digital partnerships: the Ministry of European Integration of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC), and Diia, the national public service platform.
