IT-Enterprise launches AI assistant for easier bidding in SmartTender

IT-Enterprise continues implementing artificial intelligence in its software products and services. Recently, its SmartTender bidding platform team has developed an innovative tool, the AI Checklist for bid submission, which has made e-procurement via SmartTender.biz easier and faster. Previously, all public procurement bidders had to analyze the tender documentation on their own and compile a list of required documents for bid submission. This was rather time-consuming, but now it is all in the past.

The AI Checklist for bid submission has upgraded the bidding process by adding automation. This allows users to participate in bidding more efficiently and process more tender opportunities, spending less effort on bid preparation and less time on related tasks.

“This is good news for more than 100,000 Ukrainian product manufacturers and service providers that are developing their businesses in the SmartTender.biz ecosystem. Now, the AI-powered assistant facilitates the bidding process for companies, helping them create bids and analyze supporting documentation,” said Oleg Shcherbatenko, founder and CEO of IT-Enterprise.

One of the AI assistant’s main features is the intelligent analysis of tender documentation. The tool automatically creates a checklist to conveniently arrange all customer requirements, so the users can prepare bids for submission, store documents and submit the bids in one workspace. Now this process can be completed within just 5 minutes.

Apart from saving time, the automation of routine tasks also offers a competitive advantage. The bidders can prepare the document package more thoroughly, quickly identify potential constraints, and minimize the number of errors in their bids. What is more, the AI tool can even estimate the probability of winning as early as the preparation stage, ensuring that the documents are in exact compliance with all the requirements. This increases the chance of success by an impressive 30% or more.

“This is a great advantage for Ukrainian suppliers, who can now develop their businesses more efficiently on the SmartTender.biz platform. And the most intriguing thing is that the first 100 participants will get a unique chance to use AI to check tender documentation and auto-generate bidding checklists in exchange for a charitable donation,” said the SmartTender team.

The new service has already received positive feedback from its first users, including the most ambitious companies such as YASNO, Ukrnafta-Postach, ETG, Tender-Garant, and others.

“We are deeply grateful to SmartTender for its trust and the opportunity to be the first to test the new AI capabilities for procurement. The AI tool for the automatic processing of tender documentation and checklist generation significantly speeds up bid preparation and allows us to consider more tender opportunities. We would also like to note the convenience of uploading files to the cloud, which makes our work even more efficient,” said YASNO.

“We have already tried out the bid submission checklist and are very pleased with the results. With this tool, we are processing tender documentation much faster. Now we can work on each requirement step by step, preparing for procurement in a more structured and consistent way. It is really helpful that the document attachments are stored in the system and can be quickly selected from the checklist for bid submission,” added Ukrnafta-Postach.

The AI assistant functionality was developed by a team of R&D machine learning engineers, lawyers, and procurement specialists. The checklist has proven its effectiveness, showing impressive results. At the alpha testing stage, it analyzed more than 3,000 tenders with an incredible outcome: AI managed to find 100% of the requirements.

“This success motivates us to keep going and launch large-scale beta testing. In today's world, where companies are striving to improve process efficiency, it is key for work tasks to be conveniently and neatly organized. That is why the IT-Enterprise team is currently integrating AI not only into manufacturing but also procurement processes, making them even more efficient and easy to run,” said Oleg Shcherbatenko.

IT-Enterprise, a Ukrainian product IT company, has been operating for over 35 years, driving the digital transformation of the country's largest real sector companies, such as Interpipe, Ferrexpo, Nibulon, Ukrposhta, Ukrnafta, Ukrzaliznytsia, and others. Since the first days of the full-scale war, the IT-Enterprise team has been working with the government and local authorities to implement key strategic projects for Ukraine: accounting for humanitarian aid, resuming the procurement process, and relocating businesses. The company's founder and CEO Oleg Shcherbatenko is a staunch advocate of the Industry 4.0 and 5.0 approach and technologies.
