IT-Enterprise is now part of EDIH Kyiv Hitech
Kyiv Hitech, a consortium led by the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, where IT-Enterprise is a member, has received the official status of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) and the prestigious Seal of Excellence from the European Commission.
European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) is a network of one-stop shops created to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while implementing digital technologies. Having an EDIH status opens up wide opportunities for the consortium, including access to new partners, joining EU initiatives, and potential funding from national or regional organizations.
EDIH Kyiv Hitech unites two leading innovative digital hubs: Centre 4.0 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Virtual Center for Digital Innovation (NOSC-UA DIH) at Kyiv Academic University. Other members are reputable companies, such as Siemens, Festo, Ukrainian software manufacturers IT-Enterprise, 482.Solutions, and partner organizations: the APPAU and Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
The Seal of Excellence was awarded to EDIH Kyiv Hitech as a sign of the project’s impact and compliance with the European Commission's criteria. While the consortium has not received direct EU funding yet, this certificate gives the green light to potential national funding and participation in future competitions.
“This is great news for all members of EDIH Kyiv Hitech,” said Oleg Shcherbatenko, CEO and co-founder of IT-Enterprise. ”We believe that with all our accumulated potential and experience we can not just move forward but actively seek new funding. The Seal of Excellence is a key milestone on our journey to even greater achievements in digital transformation.”
Mr. Shcherbatenko added that the EDIH status opens up new horizons for Ukraine’s digital development. This should help to accelerate transformation processes and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian businesses in the European market.
