Production
Production logistics management
Operational movement and balances accounting of material values during the production process
The system allows to effectively solve problems
Increasing the speed of logistics processes
Batch traceability of the entire manufacturing process: from a batch of material to finished products and from products to material
Batch accounting of inventory items: materials, semi-finished and finished products
Inventory movement accounting by departments, sites, containers, lines, places and equipment
Task management for inventory moving
Operational transfer management
One of the main reasons for deviations of actual production from the production plan is the lack of necessary materials and semi-finished products at the time of the planned start of technological operations at work centers. These materials and semi-finished products may be located somewhere in the enterprise (in warehouses or in workshops), but not at the working center at the required time. Someone had to deliver them to work centers, but for some reason failed.
Production will be carried out in accordance with the optimal plan only if by the time of the beginning of each production operation everything necessary for carrying it out (materials, semi-finished products, equipment, etc.) will be located near the corresponding work center. Therefore, the operational management of the movement of inventory is the most important component of production management in real time.
The purpose of the operational management of transfer of goods and materials is to minimize the inefficient waiting time for processing and shipping.
The following is necessary for this:
- deliver materials to production just in time
- minimize processing waiting time
- carry out the transfer of goods and materials to production just in time
Taiichi Ohno - one of the main creators of the production system of Toyota and the ideologue of the concept of "lean production", identified 7 types of losses - 7 Toyota wastes.
- Losses due to overproduction
- Time lost due to waiting
- Losses due to unnecessary transportation
- Losses due to unnecessary processing steps
- Losses due to excess inventory
- Losses due to unnecessary transfers
- Losses due to the release of defective products
IT-Enterprise.InTime — is a mobile transportation management solution designed for transport workers. This is the implementation of the concept of Just In Time in the management of production stocks.
Area of usage
Operational management of transport and warehouse workers on the transfer of semi-finished products/materials/finished products:
- between production sites and between work centers
- between workshops and warehouses
- from warehouses to workshops (materials and components)
- from shops to warehouses (finished products or semi-finished products)
Application assignment
- formation of electronic tasks for transfers
- selection of performers
- reservation and registration of tasks
- automatic generation of production documents accompanying the transfer (waybills for transfers, etc.)
The users of IT-Enterprise.InTime solution are transport workers, namely:
- intrashop support staff working on electric cars or trolleys
- drivers of internal transport
- electric transport workers
- warehouse workers
- machine operators, whose competence includes moving their workings to the next operation or to the storage area
To use IT-Enterprise.InTime you need to equip transport workers with mobile platforms. It can be:
- tablet mounted on electric car
- smartphone in one’s pocket
- tablet on the belt
- PDCT
Sources of tasks for transfers can be as follows:
Accounting for material flows in production - when registering generation, a task for moving to the next operation is generated according to the technological process
APS-online scheduling system — when registering equipment loading and at a known processing time, the end time of production is determined and the movement task is scheduled for the planned end time
WMS - warehouse management system: tasks for the complete set, for moving around the warehouse, for issuing from warehouse to production
Application from the workshop for the issuance of materials – upon request the task for Just-in-Time transfer is formed
Manual entry of application for manual transfer in the factory - call "a taxi for materials"
Interplant transfers - for holdings with developed cooperation
