IT-Enterprise joins AI Forum Czechia & Ukraine on Industrial AI applications

Artificial intelligence has gained extreme popularity, penetrating virtually all spheres of life. There are very few people that have not yet had the chance to experience various apps for text generation, calculations, and many other processes. Recently, AI and its industrial impact have become the central topics of AI FORUM CZECHIA & UKRAINE.

On April 24, 2024, the Ukrainian-Czech IT forum on the development and applications of artificial intelligence was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and the Czechlnno Association for the Support of Czech innovative business.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic David Muller, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Vitalii Usatyi, and Czech Governmental Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Tomáš Kopeční. IT-Enterprise also joined AI FORUM CZECHIA & UKRAINE, represented by Oleksandr Ochkasov, whose presentation was entitled “Current needs of Ukrainian industry, AI in predictive maintenance and innovative features of IT-Enterprise”.

“Ukraine is an open field for any technological experiments, and the almost complete absence of any AI regulation creates unprecedented opportunities for the market participants,” said Tomáš Kopeční.

The forum participants discussed the main topics of Industrial AI applications, such as Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twins (Industrial Internet of Things, IIoT), optimization and forecasting of energy consumption. They also discussed how artificial intelligence can be used to manage supply chains and the development of new technologies for robotics and drones.

"You should attend such conferences not only to network and launch new projects. The main goal is to synchronize with those developments and solutions that are already working and broadly applied in Europe. While Ukrainian companies are at a fairly high level, there is still room for improvement if we look at the experience of our Czech colleagues. So, this is a great opportunity to establish collaborations,” noted Oleksandr Ochkasov, Head of AI at IT-Enterprise.

The forum brought in a proposal from the Czech partners to cooperate in the field of Digital Twins and Smart Factory, computer vision and sound event detection for Smart City projects, etc. Another area proposed by Czech partners was AI-based forestry management.

“We are strengthening the relationship between our innovation ecosystems by launching a bilateral Smart Industries Committee, where we are considering a number of new projects and programs for members of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, both in the EU and in Ukraine,” highlighted Oleksandr Yurchak, Chairman of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance.

This has created grounds for strengthening and developing relations between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in the field of technology in the near future. It will be easier to integrate the technology systems of both countries and work together in the same direction. Prospective cooperation in the field of innovation is promising and mutually beneficial for both countries.

During the 4th business mission, members of the Ukrainian delegation, including experts from companies, universities, and the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, visited the EIDH Brain4Industry research institute and arranged multiple B2B and C2C meetings.
